Kia has unveiled the full specs and launch dates for its new EV3 compact SUV, which will debut in Korea in July and later in Europe. The EV3, inspired by the larger EV9, features advanced technology, plant-derived materials, and two battery options. It offers a range of up to 373 miles and includes new features like i-Pedal 3.0. Pricing details are yet to be announced, and there are no confirmed plans for a US release.
The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox, the brand's second-best-selling vehicle, is set to debut with increased interior space, enhanced safety features, and rugged styling touches. Based on a new architecture, it will offer a standard 11.3-inch touch screen, heated seats and steering wheel, and a new trim level called Activ with an outdoorsy look. Jeep is reportedly discontinuing the Renegade, its most affordable model, in the United States and Canada due to declining sales. The subcompact crossover will no longer be offered after the 2023 model year, leaving the compact Compass as the cheapest vehicle in Jeep's lineup. Despite an early high in sales, the Renegade's popularity declined significantly starting in 2019, with sales falling to 27,459 in 2022. The Renegade will continue to be sold in Mexico, Europe, South America, and Asia.

Volvo has announced its latest electric vehicle, the compact EX30 SUV, which will have a starting price tag of $34,950. The EX30 will come in two trims, a single-motor extended-range model and a higher-performing dual-motor version, both featuring a 69kWh battery with 64kWh of usable power. The single-motor version will get an estimated 275 miles, while the dual-motor trim will stop short at 265 miles. The EX30 will also have some cool safety tech of its own, including Volvo's first car to include the next-generation version of Park Assist Pilot.
