Is there a ninth planet in our solar system?
Researchers have proposed a new hypothesis that a meteorite called CNEOS14, which fell into the Pacific in 2014, could have been deflected towards Earth by an unknown massive object in the outer solar system, possibly Planet 9. The researchers found a striking coincidence between the origin of the meteorite and the region where simulations predict that Planet 9 is most likely to be found. They have an observation campaign underway at the Javalambre Observatory to carry out this search.
