Cardiologists have identified three new cholesterol-lowering medications that could prevent the need for stents in the future. The new medications include oral medications like Nexletol and simple at-home injections like Repatha, Praluent, and Leqvio, which are dramatically lowering bad cholesterol, even into the single digits.
