Toddler's Stubbed Toe Unveils Hidden Cancer Diagnosis
A two-year-old boy named Zak from Crawley was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia after a seemingly minor toe injury led to severe symptoms. Initially suspected to be a broken toe or an infection, further tests revealed the rare blood cancer. Zak underwent intensive chemotherapy and continues to receive treatment, but maintains a vibrant personality and enjoys school. His family is supporting a campaign to provide comfort to children with cancer through lavender-scented teddy bears. Zak's treatment is expected to conclude in June 2025.
