Toddler's Stubbed Toe Unveils Hidden Cancer Diagnosis

A two-year-old boy named Zak from Crawley was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia after a seemingly minor toe injury led to severe symptoms. Initially suspected to be a broken toe or an infection, further tests revealed the rare blood cancer. Zak underwent intensive chemotherapy and continues to receive treatment, but maintains a vibrant personality and enjoys school. His family is supporting a campaign to provide comfort to children with cancer through lavender-scented teddy bears. Zak's treatment is expected to conclude in June 2025.

"$44K in Charitable LEGOs Swiped from V Pizza"

V Pizza's charity initiative, V for Victory, which donates LEGOs to children with cancer, suffered a significant loss as over $44,000 worth of LEGOs were stolen from their warehouse. The theft impacted 440 children who are undergoing cancer treatment. The organization had previously served over 825 families, distributing more than 2,000 LEGO sets. The owner, Paul Scott, whose son had cancer, started the program to bring positivity to children during their treatments. Donations to V for Victory can be made through their website to help replace the stolen items.
