Kraft Recalls Cheese Slices Over Choking Hazard
Kraft Heinz is recalling approximately 83,800 cases of processed cheese slices due to a temporary issue with a wrapping machine, which caused thin strips of plastic film to remain on the cheese. Customers complained of gagging and choking on the cheese. The company fixed the faulty machine and there were no injuries or deaths reported. The recall affects specific shipments of 16-ounce Kraft Singles American Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product with a use-by date of Jan. 10 through Jan. 27. Customers can contact Kraft Heinz for reimbursement.
