Buried Hydropower Link From Quebec Aims to Power NYC
A $6 billion, 339-mile buried transmission line known as the Champlain Hudson Power Express will deliver Canadian hydropower into New York City, providing up to 20 percent of the city’s electricity when it comes online this spring and marking the longest buried high‑voltage line in North America.
