Central NC Counties Under Freeze and Frost Advisory, Warm Days Ahead in New Mexico

The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory for several central North Carolina counties for Monday morning. Temperatures as low as 33 degrees will result in frost formation, and sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees could kill crops and outdoor, sensitive vegetation. The warning lasts from 2 a.m. until 9 a.m. Monday for four counties, while the advisory lasts from 2 a.m. until 9 a.m. Monday for 17 counties. Residents are advised to protect their outdoor vegetation from the cold.
