Breakthrough: Human Cell Atlas Now Includes Over 100 Million Cells
Scientists have published an early version of a map detailing some of the human body's cells as part of the Human Cell Atlas project, which aims to map cells from 18 organs by 2026. This initiative, involving global researchers, seeks to enhance understanding of health and diseases like cancer by exploring cell functions and relationships. The current map, considered a first version, is open-access and aims to aid in disease research and treatment.
