Miraculous Rescue: Sailor and Dog Survive Months Adrift at Sea
An Australian sailor and his dog, Bella, have been rescued after spending three months adrift in the Pacific Ocean. Timothy Lyndsay Shaddock and Bella survived on raw fish and rainwater before being spotted by a Mexican tuna trawler. Shaddock expressed gratitude to the captain and fishing company for saving his life. Their journey began in May, but their small catamaran was damaged by a storm, leaving them stranded. The pair were found more than 1,200 miles from land and received medical attention and food from the boat's crew. Shaddock praised Bella for her companionship and expressed his love for the ocean despite the ordeal.
