Incredible Survival: Australian Man and Dog Rescued After Months Stranded on Catamaran

Australian sailor Tim Shaddock and his dog Bella were rescued after spending two months adrift in the Pacific Ocean. Shaddock had set off from Mexico on his catamaran but was hit by a storm that knocked out the electronics on board. He survived by catching raw fish, collecting rainwater, and sheltering from the sun. Shaddock was eventually spotted by a helicopter and brought on board a fishing trawler. Despite his ordeal, he is in good health and is being brought back to Mexico. The story has been likened to the film Castaway, and experts credit Shaddock's mental discipline and positive attitude, as well as the company of his dog, for his survival.
