Judge Denies Bryan Kohberger's Attempts to Dismiss Charges in Idaho College Murders

The judge presiding over the capital murder trial of Bryan Kohberger, the man accused of killing four Idaho college students, has denied both of his lawyers' attempts to dismiss the charges against him. The defense argued that prosecutors withheld evidence and biased the grand jury, as well as used the wrong standard of proof. However, the judge ruled that the indictment was valid and that the correct standard of probable cause was used. Kohberger, a criminology Ph.D. student, is accused of breaking into an off-campus home and stabbing four University of Idaho students to death. He could face the death penalty if convicted.
