Midwest Hit by Multiple Tornadoes in Overnight Storms
Rare tornadoes hit parts of Genesee and Calhoun counties in Michigan, causing damage to homes and infrastructure. No deaths or injuries were reported, but significant property damage and power outages were observed. Cleanup efforts were underway, and local officials urged caution due to downed power lines and blocked roads. The tornadoes came after unseasonable warmth and record-high temperatures in southeast Michigan, and six months after a previous tornado event in the state.
