Mexican Imitation In-N-Out Draws Crowds with Authenticity
A new burger joint called In-I-Nout has opened in Sinaloa, Mexico, imitating the iconic features of California-based In-N-Out, including red booths, the yellow arrow sign, and a pastiche of Americana. The knockoff serves burgers, French fries topped with grilled onions and special sauce, and traditional double burgers with bacon and brioche buns. In-N-Out has declined to comment on the matter, suggesting a possible legal dispute. It remains unclear if In-I-Nout is a temporary or permanent business, but In-N-Out itself has not expanded into Mexico.
