A Delhi court has vacated the interim order that prevented the Rajya Sabha Secretariat from dispossessing AAP MP Raghav Chadha from the Type VII bungalow allotted to him. The court stated that Chadha had no vested right to continue occupying the premises after its allotment had been cancelled. The court also noted that Chadha failed to provide urgency in seeking interim relief and that both sides should be given time to argue the urgency of the matter. Chadha had challenged the cancellation of his accommodation, claiming it was arbitrary and lacked due process. The Rajya Sabha Secretariat argued that Chadha had no vested right in the allotted accommodation, which was rightfully cancelled.
