A semi-truck crashed on the George Rogers Clark Memorial Bridge, leaving it dangling over the Ohio River. Firefighters successfully rescued the truck driver using a rope system and rappelling down to the cab, bringing her to safety. One other person involved in the crash was taken to the hospital, and the bridge remained closed as Louisville Metro Police investigate.

A crash involving a cattle trailer, a pickup, and at least four other vehicles caused a traffic jam on the Missouri River bridge west of Columbia. Wrecker crews had to unload the cattle from the hauler before it could be moved out of the way, and firefighters had to spray down and cool the animals. The other tractor trailer involved in the crash was hauling pallets of Bud Ice beer, some of which spilled onto the bridge deck and likely into the water below. The highway reopened around 3:45 p.m. and emergency crews have not yet reported any injuries.
A driver crashed off the side of a bridge in Norwich and landed in the Shetucket River below. The driver was able to self-extricate and swim to shore, and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Crews worked to remove the submerged vehicle and investigate the crash. No other injuries were reported.
