SF Giants Activate Brandon Crawford off IL, Receive Positive Updates on Winn and Estrada
The San Francisco Giants have activated Brandon Crawford off the injured list and optioned Brett Wisely to Triple-A Sacramento. Wisely struggled with pitch selection, leading to a low batting average and OPS. The Giants are hopeful that Thairo Estrada will soon begin a rehab assignment, and they may add depth before the trade deadline. Meanwhile, rookie pitcher Keaton Winn has been diagnosed with elbow inflammation but no structural damage, and the team expects him to return this season. Outfielder Mitch Haniger is progressing well from a fractured forearm and could be back before September.
