Former Iditarod champion Brent Sass has been disqualified from this year's race following sexual assault allegations made by multiple women. Sass denies the accusations, but the Iditarod Trail Committee Board based its decision on the race rulebook's personal conduct policy. The disqualification comes after another competitor, Eddie Burke Jr., was initially disqualified but later reinstated after the state dropped a domestic violence charge against him.
