Three Brothers Drown After Ice Breaks on North Texas Pond Near Bonham
A North Texas mother, Cheyenne Hangaman, grieves as three of her sons, ages 6, 8, and 9, drowned after falling through a frozen private pond near their Bonham home. The youngest reportedly fell in first; his brothers jumped in to help as the ice broke, and the mother struggled to save them. Neighbors and first responders pulled the two older boys from the water, but they died at a hospital, while the 6-year-old did not resurface.
