Three Bonham brothers drown after icy pond accident during Texas winter storm

Three brothers, ages 6, 8 and 9, died after falling into a frozen pond in Bonham, Texas during a winter storm; their mother jumped in to save them but was pulled out by a neighbor and a local football coach, and the 8- and 9-year-olds died at the hospital while the 6-year-old’s body was recovered after an extensive search. The Bonham ISD and community are offering support, and a GoFundMe has been set up to assist the family.
