E.coli has been found in the water supply for Des Moines and Normandy Park, prompting a boil order for residents of Water District 54. While subsequent tests didn't show E.coli, coliform bacteria was present. The district has begun chlorinating its water system, but residents are advised to use bottled water for daily tasks until the boil order is lifted.
