"Georgia's Black Churches Unite to Mobilize Key Voters"
Two of the largest Black church groups in Georgia, the African Methodist Episcopal Church and the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, are joining forces to mobilize Black voters in the state ahead of the November presidential election. With more than 140,000 parishioners combined, the churches aim to reinvigorate the Black church as a powerful driver of voter turnout, particularly in response to new voting restrictions in Georgia and the need to empower their communities.
