Fortnite Players to Receive Over $126 Million in Refunds
The Federal Trade Commission is issuing over $126 million in refunds to Fortnite players who were charged for unwanted purchases, bringing the total refunds related to Epic Games' billing practices to nearly $200 million. The refunds are part of a settlement after allegations of deceptive billing practices, with payments being sent out in two rounds, and players now able to submit claims until July 9, 2025.
