British aristocrats convicted in baby’s death and criminal cases
Constance Marten and Mark Gordon, a wealthy British aristocrat and a convicted rapist, were found guilty of manslaughter after their newborn daughter Victoria was discovered dead in a shed following a 53-day evasion from authorities across the UK. The couple, who had a history of domestic violence and neglect, traveled extensively with their children, avoiding social services and law enforcement, ultimately leading to the tragic death of their baby due to neglect and exposure. They are set to be sentenced later this year.
