Rivian Unveils R3X Electric SUV and Pauses Georgia Factory Plan
Rivian surprised with the unveiling of the R3 and R3X electric SUVs during its R2 reveal event, showcasing a slightly shorter and sportier design with a performance variant. The R3, designed with tighter dimensions and a lower price point than the R2, will feature over 300 miles of range, zero to 60mph acceleration in three seconds, and enhanced autonomous capabilities. It will also offer a more powerful computer, a sensor suite with 11 cameras and five radars, and a rear gate window for extra storage. The R3 and R3X will launch soon after the R2 and will be available in international markets after their North American debut.
