A new study suggests that consuming just two liters of soda per week may increase the risk of long-term heart issues, particularly atrial fibrillation, by 20 percent. While some experts caution about drawing definitive conclusions, the lead author recommends reducing or avoiding artificially sweetened and sugar-sweetened beverages.
