Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios Austin have released a character trailer for Remi De La Rosa, a combat engineer in the upcoming cooperative first-person shooter game Redfall. Remi is determined to help rescue survivors with the help of her robot companion, Bribon. Redfall is set to release on May 2 for Xbox Series and PC.
Microsoft had promoted Redfall with 60 fps capabilities on the Xbox Store, but the recent update from developer Arkane Studios Austin revealed that the console version will be limited to 30 fps at launch. The Xbox Store has been updated to reflect this change. The game's creative director stated that Microsoft's decision to cancel the PS5 version of Redfall favored Arkane Studios Austin, but the studio is unable to deliver a 60 fps mode in the Xbox Series X|S version of Redfall at launch.
