French soccer players excluded for refusing to participate in anti-homophobia campaign.

Toulouse FC excluded several players from its Ligue 1 game against Nantes after they refused to participate in a league-wide anti-homophobia campaign. French teams were asked to don rainbow-colored numbers and hold banners to raise awareness for International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. The excluded players were not named, but Moroccan international Zakaria Aboukhlal and Egyptian international Mostafa Mohamed confirmed on social media that they chose not to participate due to personal beliefs and convictions. Toulouse drew 0-0 with Nantes and currently sits 13th in the league.
