Anna Paulina Luna, would have also fined Schiff $16 million. Schiff claimed the motion was retaliation for leading the first impeachment of former President Donald Trump. The resolution was killed by 205 Democrats and 20 Republicans, while 196 GOPers voted to punish Schiff. Schiff famously claimed to have found "more than circumstantial evidence" of collusion and read parts of the now-discredited Steele dossier into the Congressional Record.
