LA Meteorologist Recovers After Fainting on Live TV
Alissa Carlson Schwartz, a Los Angeles weatherwoman, fainted on live television while preparing for her 7am report. Her eyes rolled back in her head before she fell to the ground, but her co-anchors didn't seem to notice at first. It's unknown what caused her to faint, but she faced a similar incident in 2014 while working at a different station, where she learned she had a leaky heart valve. After giving birth to her daughter, the stem cell from her pregnancy helped repair her heart.
