
L.J. Cason Out for Season After ACL Tear
Michigan sophomore guard L.J. Cason will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season after tearing his right ACL at Illinois on Feb. 27. He averaged 8.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steal per game while shooting 50.3% from the field and hitting 33 three-pointers; Michigan, the 2026 Big Ten regular-season champion with a No. 1 seed, heads to Iowa and Michigan State and will open the Big Ten Tournament with a triple bye as he focuses on rehab and supports his teammates.
