Less than a week after tearing her ACL, Lindsey Vonn returned to downhill training in Italy, finishing 11th with a +1.39 in a 47-racer field and clearing the training requirement to compete in the Olympic downhill. Coach Aksel Svindal praised her symmetry and cautious approach, while Jackie Wiles led the session with the fastest time of 1:38.94.
