Climate Alarmist Scientist Warns of Worsening Future
James Hansen, the US scientist who first alerted the world to the greenhouse effect in the 1980s, warns that the world is heading towards a superheated climate not seen in the past 1 million years due to the lack of action on the climate crisis. Hansen, along with two other scientists, states that the world is moving towards a "new climate frontier" with temperatures higher than any point in the past million years, leading to stronger storms, heatwaves, and droughts. The world has already warmed by 1.2C since mass industrialization, increasing the likelihood of extreme summer temperatures. Hansen argues that the rate of global heating is accelerating, causing an "unprecedented" energy imbalance. While some scientists dispute the claim, others agree that the warming is not decreasing. If global temperatures rise by 1C or more, the world will experience a level of warmth not seen in 1-3 million years, with significant consequences for humans and ecosystems.
