Flu Cases Surge Across Texas, Impacting Multiple Counties
The number of flu cases in Abilene-Taylor County has tripled over the past month, with 324 cases reported for the week of January 21 through 27, up from 170 cases the previous week and 105 cases at the end of December. Currently, there is an even split between cases of Influenza A and Influenza B, with 178 and 146 cases recorded, respectively. Public health officials are urging residents to stay informed about flu symptoms, treatments, and updates from the CDC.
