A commercial rocket, Space One's Kairos rocket, was intentionally exploded shortly after liftoff in central Japan during its attempt to put a satellite into orbit. The cause of the problem is still under investigation, and no injuries were reported. The rocket was supposed to launch a government-made satellite to gather various information, including monitoring potential dangers from neighboring North Korea.
