Ethiopia forms Tigray interim government for peace plan.

Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has established an interim administration for the northern region of Tigray, appointing Tigray People's Liberation Front delegate Getachew Reda as head of the interim administration, as part of a peace plan to end the war there. The lack of an interim government has been hampering the humanitarian response across Tigray, where millions are in dire need of assistance. The move comes a day after Ethiopia's parliament voted to remove the TPLF from a list of "terrorist" organisations.
