CIA's Attempted Cover-up: Whistleblower Exposes COVID Lab Leak Findings

A whistleblower has alleged that the CIA attempted to pay off analysts to suppress their findings that COVID-19 likely originated from a lab in Wuhan, China. The whistleblower claims that the agency offered monetary incentives to six analysts to change their position and state that the virus originated from animal-to-human transmission instead. The House committee leaders have requested documents and communications related to the CIA's COVID Discovery Team, as well as an interview with former CIA chief operating officer Andrew Makridis, who played a central role in the investigation. The CIA has stated that it takes the allegations seriously and will investigate them.
