"Hurricane Franklin Intensifies, Targets Bermuda - US NHC"

Hurricane Franklin is expected to become the Atlantic's first major hurricane of the season, with maximum sustained winds nearing 105 mph. It is forecasted to pass close to Bermuda on Wednesday, potentially causing life-threatening surf and rip current conditions. Another storm, Idalia, is also expected to become a hurricane and could bring scattered flash and urban flooding to parts of Florida, the Panhandle, and southern Georgia.
