Aid groups are warning of a "large-scale loss of life" in Myanmar after Cyclone Mocha hit the country's west coast, causing widespread destruction and compromising communication lines in conflict-racked Rakhine state. The region is home to hundreds of thousands of displaced people, including stateless Rohingya members of the persecuted Muslim minority group. Aid agencies fear the poorly constructed camps where many Rohingya live have been hit the hardest. At least 41 people have died and dozens more are missing in Rakhine, according to reports on the ground.
