Ukraine-Russia War: Ammo Shortages and Funding Concerns Escalate

President Joe Biden stated that he will deliver a major speech on Ukraine as his administration urges Congress to continue providing military assistance. While the recent 45-day funding bill did not include aid for Ukraine, Biden mentioned the possibility of finding alternate means to supply funding. He also hinted at plans to send Ukraine the long-range missiles, or ATACMS, that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has requested. Additionally, the US has transferred 1.1 million rounds of ammunition seized from Iran to Ukraine, and intends to reroute other seized weapons to help address Ukraine's ammunition shortage.
