Tensions Rise as Belarus Seeks Improved Relations with Poland and Lithuania

Polish President Andrzej Duda has responded to Alexander Lukashenko's sudden desire for improved relations with Poland by stating that Belarus must cease its hybrid attacks on the border if it genuinely seeks better ties. Duda emphasized that the Polish border with Belarus is also the EU's border, and therefore Poland bears responsibility before its European allies. Lukashenko had previously accused Poland of plotting aggression against Belarus but later admitted to lying about alleged involvement of Wagnerites.
