Russia's Naval Fleet Shifts Amidst Sevastopol Attacks and Ukraine Conflict

Satellite imagery reveals that Russia has been relocating some naval ships from the Black Sea port of Sevastopol in Crimea to Novorossiysk and Feodosia after a series of Ukrainian attacks. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that frigates, submarines, landing ships, and missile ships were among the vessels moved. Meanwhile, Russia announced plans for a new naval base in the breakaway region of Abkhazia, Georgia. Ukraine has launched missile attacks on Sevastopol, damaging naval vessels, prompting the Black Sea Fleet to disperse its ships between several ports.
