British Defence Intelligence warns that Russia may again target Ukraine's national energy infrastructure with air launched cruise missiles (ALCMs) during the winter, as they have been focusing on these strikes between October 2022 and March 2023. Russia has been using strategic bomber aircraft to release ALCMs, particularly the modern AS-23a KODIAK, and has shown efforts to increase cruise missile production, potentially building up a significant stockpile.
