Russia doubles missile production amid Ukraine conflict

Russia is increasing the pace and volume of weapons production to replenish its troops, while the European Union is pushing for increased ammunition production for Ukraine. Denmark has committed $250 million worth of military equipment and financial support to Kyiv. The death toll in Ukraine is estimated to be as high as 40,000 Russians and between 15,500 and 17,500 Ukrainians killed in action, with another 8,709 civilians killed. However, the war in Ukraine is still far from the deadliest conflict in the world last year, with as many as 600,000 people estimated to have died in the conflict between Tigrayan rebels and Ethiopian and Eritrean troops.
