Regional Ministers in Jordan Urge Blinken to Call for Gaza Ceasefire

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet with Middle East foreign ministers in Jordan, where he will hear demands for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The Arab ministers, including representatives from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Jordan, will stress the Arab stance calling for a ceasefire, humanitarian aid, and an end to the deteriorating security situation in the region. Jordan's King Abdullah II has also urged the international community to push for a ceasefire and revive negotiations for an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel.
