Israeli Strikes Target Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon

Israel carried out intense airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in the Suluki Valley in south Lebanon, following a rare acknowledgment of a special forces operation on the border. Lebanese security sources reported at least 16 airstrikes, the heaviest bombardment in the area since hostilities began three months ago. The Israeli military targeted Hezbollah emplacements and weapons infrastructure, while Hezbollah claimed to have launched rockets at Israeli troops across the frontier.
