Houthis Target Western Ships in Red Sea Attacks

Houthi forces in Yemen claimed to have targeted British, U.S., and Israeli ships with rockets and drones in support of Palestinians in the Gaza war, with attacks reported in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean. British security firm Ambrey received information of an attack in the Gulf of Aden, while a missile landed near a vessel in the same area, but no damage or injuries were reported. The attacks have disrupted global shipping through the Suez Canal, leading to longer and more expensive journeys around southern Africa, and prompted the United States and Britain to launch strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen.
