Germany Urgently Sends Second Patriot System to Ukraine Amid Escalating Russian Attacks

Germany will deliver a second Patriot air defense system to Ukraine before the end of the year to protect against Russian strikes, according to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. He emphasized Germany's role in strengthening Ukrainian air defense and mentioned other military aid being provided, including self-propelled guns, anti-drone capabilities, and sensors. The budget of Germany has been revised to double military assistance for Ukraine from €4 billion to €8 billion, and direct military aid will be maintained at that level next year.
