Germany Probes Russian Interception of Military Talks on Ukraine

Germany accuses Russian President Vladimir Putin of attempting to sow disunity by leaking a confidential German army discussion on the Ukraine war, involving the potential use of Taurus missiles, as pressure mounts for Berlin to supply the missiles to Kyiv. Chancellor Olaf Scholz has so far refused to send the missiles, fearing escalation with Russia, while France and Britain have already provided Kyiv with long-range missiles. Germany's Defence Minister Boris Pistorius called the leak an attempt to destabilize and unsettle Germany, part of an information war carried out by Putin.
