"Belarus Adopts New Doctrine Allowing Use of Nuclear Weapons"

Belarus, closely allied with Russia, plans to introduce a new military doctrine allowing for the use of nuclear weapons, with Russia having sent tactical nuclear weapons to be stationed in Belarus. The doctrine is to be presented for approval to the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, and the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus is seen as a deterrent against aggression from NATO member Poland.
